Dog Sizing & Fit Guide
A little preparation makes choosing easier. Use a soft measuring tape, measure in centimetres and check the size chart on the exact product you want. Size labels vary between styles; breed and weight alone cannot confirm fit.

Harness fit
- Neck: Measure around the base of the neck where the harness straps will sit.
- Chest: Measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs. Keep the tape comfortably close without pulling it tight.
- Compare both: Check the neck and chest ranges on your chosen harness. Do not choose a size using chest alone if a neck measurement is provided.
After fitting, adjust the straps for a secure, comfortable fit. Check for rubbing and make sure your dog cannot back out. If the neck and chest fall into different sizes, ask us before ordering.

Clothing sizes
- Chest: Measure around the widest part of the chest behind the front legs.
- Back length: With your dog standing naturally, measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.
- Neck: Measure around the base of the neck. Compare all measurements with the chart for that garment.
Leave room for comfortable movement and follow any product-specific fit guidance. Body shape, coat thickness and fabric stretch affect fit. Do not assume the same size will fit across every style.

Shoe sizing
- Stand on paper: Place one paw on a sheet of paper while your dog is standing and bearing weight naturally.
- Mark width and length: Mark the widest points of the paw and the front and back points. Include the nails in the length measurement, then measure between your marks.
- Check every paw: Front and back paws may differ. Compare the measurements with the exact shoe's size chart and follow that style's sizing instructions.
Check how many shoes are included before ordering; some styles are sold as a two-piece set. Introduce shoes gradually indoors and check for slipping, tightness or rubbing.
